Embed Calxo Calculators on Your Site (Free)

Calxo’s calculators can be embedded on any website, blog, internal HR portal or LMS — for free. Bloggers, finance creators, advisors and HR teams use the embed to add a working calculator next to their own content without rebuilding the math themselves.

How embedding works

  1. Open any calculator on Calxo
  2. Click Share, embed or cite below the article
  3. Copy the iframe snippet from the Embed tab
  4. Paste it into your page (WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Squarespace, plain HTML — anywhere HTML is allowed)

The iframe auto-resizes to fit the calculator widget, so you don’t need to set a height. The embed includes a small “Powered by Calxo” footer with a link back to the source page — that’s the only attribution we ask for.

What you get in the embed

Each embedded calculator is the full interactive widget — same formula, same INR formatting, same defaults as the calxo.in version. No watermarks, no ads, no popups. Mobile-responsive out of the box. Loads in under 50KB plus the Plus Jakarta Sans webfont.

The widget renders entirely on the user’s browser — no inputs are sent to any server.

Where you can embed

Anywhere that accepts HTML or an iframe block:

  • WordPress (HTML block, or Custom HTML widget)
  • Webflow (Embed component)
  • Ghost (HTML card)
  • Squarespace (Code block)
  • Wix (HTML iframe)
  • Notion (Embed block — paste the embed URL directly)
  • Substack (HTML in Markdown)
  • Internal HR portals running on Confluence, SharePoint, Salesforce community
  • LMS platforms like Moodle and Canvas

For platforms that don’t allow scripts (e.g. Notion), the auto-resize won’t work — the iframe will use the default 520px height. For full-height iframes, paste the snippet on a platform that supports script execution.

Attribution requirements

The embed automatically includes a “Powered by Calxo — Free Indian finance calculators” link in the iframe footer. By embedding, you agree to keep this attribution intact. That’s the only ask.

You’re free to:

  • Use Calxo embeds in commercial blogs, portals, or services
  • Wrap the iframe in your own UI (add a heading, intro paragraph, etc.)
  • Use multiple Calxo calculators on the same page
  • Embed in client deliverables (financial planning reports, HR onboarding materials, etc.)

You can’t:

  • Strip the “Powered by Calxo” footer or its link
  • Re-host the calculator JavaScript on your own server (use the iframe; it’s self-contained)
  • Imply that the calculator is your own work

Citing Calxo

For Quora answers, blog posts, research notes or guides where you reference a Calxo calculator without embedding, use the Cite tab in the share modal. We provide three formats:

  • Text — for plain-text contexts (academic citations, chat messages)
  • HTML — when your platform renders links (most blogs, Quora, Reddit, Stack Exchange)
  • BibTeX — for academic papers, theses, technical documents

The citation includes the article URL, author (Vignesh), reviewer (Prem Anand) and access date.

Every calculator on Calxo is embeddable — including:

Questions or issues

If an embed isn’t rendering correctly on your platform or you’d like a calculator that doesn’t exist yet, reach out via the About page. We typically reply within a day, and we’re open to building specific calculators for partner sites if there’s clear user benefit.
