About Calxo

Calxo is a free online calculator hub built for Indian users. EMI, SIP, GST, income tax, salary and more, with formulas verified against RBI and Income Tax Department sources. Run by Vignesh Sampath Kumar.

Why Calxo exists

Most Indian calculator sites are one of two things: generic global tools using dollars and US tax rules, or buried inside a bank or insurance landing page that exists to capture your phone number. Both are useless if you just want to figure out an EMI before deciding whether to take a home loan.

Calxo is a free, ad-light calculator hub for Indian users. Every tool uses Indian rules: INR, current GST slabs, both income tax regimes, 80C limits, EPF rules, and the formulas the RBI and Income Tax Department actually publish. No sign-up, no phone number, no email opt-in to see your result.

What we cover

  • Loan calculators: EMI, home loan, personal loan, car loan, education loan
  • Investment calculators: SIP, lumpsum, FD, RD, PPF, NPS, mutual fund SWP
  • Tax calculators: Income tax (old and new regime), capital gains, advance tax
  • Salary and HR: CTC to in-hand, gratuity, HRA exemption, leave encashment
  • GST: Inclusive, exclusive, reverse calculation, slab-wise
  • Conversions: Unit, length, area, currency, time

Who runs this

Calxo is run by Vignesh Sampath Kumar (that’s me). I’m an SEO Lead at PipeRocket Digital in Chennai, and I previously built EVBlogs.in, an electric vehicle blog for Indian buyers. I’m not a Chartered Accountant or a SEBI-registered advisor. What I am is somebody who’s spent way too many hours arguing with my own bank’s EMI quotes, my own CA’s tax projections, and assorted “is this a scam” calls from family members. Calxo is the calculator I wished existed when I was figuring this stuff out.

The math, source citations and tax-slab updates are reviewed before every release. If a formula looks wrong to you, write to me at avmedianews321@gmail.com and I’ll either fix it within 48 hours or explain why I disagree.

How we work

Every calculator is built from the official source: RBI circulars, Income Tax Department notifications, CBDT rules, GST Council releases. We update tools the same week tax slabs or interest rates change. No formulas are made up. Every result page links to the rule or section it implements.

We don’t store your inputs. Every calculation runs in your browser. We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous traffic stats, nothing else.

This is not financial advice. For decisions that affect your money in a serious way, consult a SEBI-registered advisor or a Chartered Accountant. Calxo is the back-of-envelope tool that helps you walk into that conversation already knowing the math.
